Latest Bus Service Information
Please read the following document from Transport for Greater Manchester which provides information on the school bus services effective from September 2024.
The only change is that a note has been added to the effect that the morning journey on service 911 from Bradley Fold to the school will no longer observe the Bury Road/Savick Avenue bus stop in Breightmet (opposite Home Bargains). This change has been made as the operator (Vision Bus) has raised concerns over serving the stop due to its proximity to the Bury Road/ Milnthorpe Avenue and having to cross two lanes of traffic to get to the right turn.
Apologies for the late notice of this change, the issue has only been brought to our attention ( and the operator's) today.

Mosley Common Road will be closed between the East Lancashire Road junction and Ashdown Drive in Mosley Common from Monday 16th June for approximately 7 weeks.
This will affect school bus service 994 which will be diverted from next week until the end of term as follows:
- Morning journey: Normal route from Newearth Road/Ellenbrook Road through Boothstown to Mosley Common Road, right onto the East Lancs Road, left into Newearth Road to return to the normal route after the Ellenbrook Road junction (omitting the section of Mosley Common Road north of the East Lancs Road along with Bridgewater Road and Ellenbrook Road).
- Afternoon journey: Normal route through Boothstown to Mosley Common Road, right onto the East Lancs Road, left into Newearth Road, left into Ellenbrook Road, right into Bridgewater Road to terminate at Ellenbrook, The Boundary Stone.
